Rhonda and Hilary both bring a lifetime of musical experience to their partnership. Rhonda gets her roots from many generations of music lovers, who inspired her to learn playing music from an early age. Hilary has performed and recorded with a number of regional traditional groups over the years. She has taught music at Brevard's favorite music store, Celestial Sounds, and played with Mary Gordon as half of the Antique Road Show.
The latest collaboration for these two musical women include several fiddle and banjo books and CD's. Their repertoire includes old-time and bluegrass tunes, western swing, favorite standards and Carter Family Songs.

The Cradle of Forestry's Songcatchers Music Series honors traditional music and the talented performers who preserve it, share it, and make it their own. Enjoy songs from ancient Appalachian ballads to vintage melodies and fiddle tunes.
A 30 minute opening performance begins at 4:00 p.m. The main concert begins after a short break at approximately 4:45 p.m. Come early and enjoy the Cradle's two interpretive trails, exhbit hall and gift shop.
Concerts take place in the sunny outdoor amphitheatre at the beginning of the Forest Festival Trail. The amphitheatre and trails are wheelchair accessible. Picnics are welcome, as are chairs between rows of amphitheatre seating. If raining, concerts are moved inside and held in the Forest Discovery Center.
